Why is it that some people can see opportunities when others can’t? I have learned that when you train your mind to look for opportunities, you will find more opportunities than you can take advantage of. In fact, instead of you seeking out opportunities, they will start to find you. The real challenge is choosing only the best ones. When Opportunity Knocks, Go For It.
I believe no one can say that they haven’t had any opportunities. Opportunities are all around us, and it really doesn’t matter what walk of life your from. Opportunities are usually not just handed to you. For most great opportunities, you have to be instrumental in creating them or at least fulfilling them. Opportunities by themselves don’t lead to success. That only comes with a plan of action and the effort to complete the plan of action. It takes sacrifice and there is a price to pay. But let me tell you, it’s worth it to live a life of freedom.
The key to success is to have a strong “WHY” and be so determined you won’t allow others to sway you or deter you from carrying out your dream. If you will refuse to allow setbacks and thunderstorms to defeat you, then you are destined to be a success. Don’t listen to the naysayers and negative people around you. There are so many people in this world that don’t hear opportunity knocking at the door. They might be too busy, not looking, or have perceptions that just don’t allow them to think outside the box or escape their existing paradigm. In fact, I run into so many people that have either hunkered down because of the economy or they genuinely feel that the economy will come back just like it was. It is my belief that time is a long time coming, if ever. I am the eternal optimist, however, I get frustrated when people won’t change their perceptions and paradigms.
Opportunity doesn’t go away, it just goes to someone else who sees it. Make a commitment to yourself to go find an opportunity that will allow you to dream again and then go make something happen. There are so many opportunities out there just waiting for someone to take advantage of them. When Opportunity Knocks, Go For It.
