The Scroll marked II in Og Mandino’s book, The Greatest Salesman in the World is I will Greet This Day With Love In My Heart. If we could all just live out this scroll, we wouldn’t have all the terror and wars and the need for all the great servicemen and women to protect us and our freedom. Following is a summary of some of the bullet points from this scroll:
- I will make love my greatest weapon.
- I will look on all things with love and be born again.
- I will dig for reasons to applaud, never excuses to gossip.
- I will build bridges so my love can open men’s souls.
- I will react to the actions of others with love.
- Love is my shield to repulse the arrows of hate and the spears of anger.
- I will love myself – I will zealously inspect all things which enter my body, my soul, and my heart.
- I will cherish my body with cleanliness and moderation.
- I will feed my soul with meditation and prayer.
- I do not have time to hate, only time to love.
As with Scroll I, the instruction is to read each scroll at least morning and night for 30 days. Just think if we did this, how much happier we would be and what a difference we could make in our world.
