Those who know me know that I love life. I work hard and play hard. I strive to be enthusiastic and have a Positive Mental Attitude and share that with others. When you have a Positive Mental Attitude, you set yourself apart from the crowd. You become a leader because positive thinking leads to positive action, while negative thinking leads to apathy and inaction. When you take initiative in any situation, others will follow because they like to associate with people who know where they are going. If you want to lead, you must first be willing to discipline yourself. One of the rules of leadership is never ask others to do what you’re not willing to do yourself. You lead by example. Being a leader requires you to work harder and longer than the others and proving you are the master of your own destiny.
A negative attitude will only generate negative thoughts. If you allow yourself to dwell on the negative aspects of life, then there’s no room for the positive thoughts to grow. We have to develop the habit of eliminating any negative thoughts and reinforcing positive thoughts. When you hear the little voice say you can’t do something or that won’t work, put the thought out of your mind immediately. Just start doing the task and after you’ve accomplished the task, tell that doubting little voice, I can do it, or it does work. When we replace negative thoughts with a Positive Mental Attitude, your life will change.
Many of you have heard of The Law Of Attraction, and I believe, you get what you put your energy and focus on, whether wanted or unwanted. The Law of Attraction is neutral. Each of us is attracting in every moment of our lives. So when you feel that the Law isn’t working for you because you don’t have what you want, realize that the law IS responding to you. You are either attracting what you want or you are attracting the absence of what you want. The law is still working. Why not attract the good things in life by developing and having a Positive Mental Attitude. Keep focused on what you want.
