It’s not what happens to you that determines how far you will go in life; it is how you handle what happens to you.–Zig Ziglar
Success is Attitude Management is the name of this Blog. I believe that unless you learn to manage you attitude, you will never achieve the level of success you should. This is true in relationships, sports, and business. Your attitude is one of the few things that is totally yours and can never be taken away from you. In today’s world, I have friends that are losing their cars, houses, and businesses. These material things will come and go but your attitude is yours forever. It’s totally under your control. It’s only when you learn to manage your attitude that you can manage the external circumstances around you.
Everyday, you have a choice when you get out of bed. To live that day positively or negatively. Real change comes from the inside first and then your behavior follows suit. In any endeavor, particularly starting a business, it’s easy to become frustrated and negative, and want to quit. As I have shared before, the first time I built an insurance business, there were many days I wanted to give up. There were many days I questioned whether it was worth it. The same is true in building my network marketing business. There have been days I wanted to give up. No matter what business your building, there will times when you feel rejected, times when you don’t feel supported, times when people tell you your crazy, and times when you don’t feel successful.
These are the times that you find out what your made of. These are the times that will test your self confidence and how you manage your attitude will determine whether you give up and quit, or you make it to the finish line. Success in the network marketing industry is more based upon attitude than it is ability. Many people fail simply because of their attitude. How can you expect to get someone to join your business and follow you if you aren’t enthusiastic, excited, and positive about what your doing. Always remember, enthusiasm is contagious, and people will watch to see how you manage your attitude.
One of the best ways to manage your attitude is to be around other positive successful people. That also means you can’t be negative around them or they won’t be allowing you to hang with them for very long. Another great way to manage your attitude and stay positive is to keep putting positive information into your brain. In other words, read or listen to something positive every day. Don’t watch TV or listen to the news. It’s usually all negative. I try to read a positive inspiring book for at least 15 minuted each day and then when I’m in my car, I listen to positive, inspiring, self help CD’s. Try it and your attitude will improve. Remember, Success is Attitude Management.
Have an awesome day and passionate day.
