In order to achieve something, you have to be prepared. I have a doer’s personality, so sometimes I have to force myself to take time to prepare. There are benefits to investing time in self-preparation. First, it moves you closer to your goal. Your goals should always be on your mind. If you take time for self-preparation, you will do the things you need to do to move you closer to achieving those goals.
The second benefit of self-preparation is that it continues to fuel your mission. Everything you do today should be getting you ready for tomorrow. You know your getting one step closer to your goals each day. If you continue to move forward and stay active, you will refuel your ambition and it will motivate you to reach your goals.
Jim Rohn says there are three steps in the method for self-preparation.
- Carefully consider where the next opportunity will originate for reaching your goal.
- Make sure you know what you need to do to be prepared for your opportunities.
- Do all you can to make each opportunity more likely to happen.
If you want to keep moving toward the goals and achievements that are most important to you, you need to continually use these methods to access where you are and where you want to be. Get ready to grow and to change.
Have an awesome day.
