Quality of Life

The quality of a person’s life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavor.–Vince Lombardi

A strategy for having a quality of life is to start accomplishing small things and work your way up to the big ones. The small things are those things that you can do that make your life better and help you feel better about yourself. Start by making a list of all the little things you want to accomplish that will give you a quality of life. You need to practice on the little disciplines and conquer them if you want to master the big ones.

Every time you accomplish a new discipline, the next one gets easier. Every small discipline you can accomplish will lead to accomplishing bigger disciplines, so find new ways to put yourself through a discipline. Keep in mind, one of the greatest deterrents to success is a lack of self-confidence and self-confidence comes from not doing what you could do.

Doing what you know you should is driven by self-motivation. Motivation comes from within. You are the only one that can determine to change yourself. In building a team or organization, I will always take someone that is self-motivated and teach them over someone that already has the knowledge but isn’t self-motivated. If you want good people, you have to go find them. If you want motivated people, you have to go find them, you can’t motivate them.

Not everybody is motivated in life. It’s hard for me to understand why everyone wouldn’t want to live a quality of life filled with wealth and happiness. I’ve learned that not everybody is self-motivated.  Living a life of discipline leads to a quality of life. Are you self-motivated? Are you willing to start leading a disciplined life. Build your own quality of life through discipline. You can do it!

Have a awesome disciplined day.
