“The components of anxiety, stress, fear, and anger do not exist independently of you in the world. They simply do not exist in the physical world, even though we talk about them as if they do.” –Wayne Dyer
In order for you to apply the philosophy to be successful, your mind must be willing and prepared to receive it. The preparation isn’t difficult. It begins with study and understanding of the three enemies that you need to get rid of. These are INDECISION, FEAR, and DOUBT. Indecision is the seedling of DOUBT. Indecision crystallizes into doubt and the two blend and become FEAR. This blending process is slow and just takes place over time.
Don’t be deceived by the habits of these subtle enemies. Sometimes they remain hidden in the subconscious mind, where they are difficult to locate and even more difficult to eliminate. Our fears can be categorized into six basic fears.
- The fear of POVERTY
- The fear of CRITICISM
- The fear of ILL HEALTH
- The fear of LOSS OF LOVE OF SOMEONE
- The fear of OLD AGE
- The fear of DEATH
As the quote from Wayne Dyer suggest, fears do not exist in the physical world. Fears are nothing more than states of minds. Your state of mind is subject to direction and control. Every one of us has the ability to completely control his own mind. Each one of us has the ability to control all our thoughts.
If it is true that ALL THOUGHT HAS A TENDENCY TO CLOTHE ITSELF IN ITS PHYSICAL EQUIVALENT, then it’s equally true that all thought impulses of fear and poverty cannot be translated into courage and financial gain. That is why it is so critical that we get rid off all our fears.
Have an fearless day.
