We’ve talked before about knowledge and how knowledge is power, but only if it is organized in a definite plan and that plan includes all the action steps for implementation. Knowledge can be gained in many ways and one of those ways is to learn from others. Napoleon Hill talks about the power of the “Master Mind” as the ninth step towards riches and he defines “Master Mind” as the “Coordination of knowledge and effort, in the spirit of harmony, between two or more people, for the attainment of a definite purpose”.
In the book, “The Power of Focus”, they talk about the primary purpose of the Mastermind Group is to establish support for each other emotionally, personally and professionally. It’s a great way to exchange ideas and information, as well as discussing meaningful topics and everyday challenges.
When we get together with other people for the purpose of accomplishing something, we take on the nature, habits, and the power of thought of those who we associate with in harmony of achieving something. You heard it said “Two heads are better than one”. A certain synergy is created when we create a “Master Mind” group. We add to our own brain power, intelligence, experience, and knowledge from our “Master Mind” group. A Mastermind Group will also hold us accountable in accomplishing our purpose.
If you don’t have a “Master Mind” group, get started developing one. Limit your group to five or six people and select the right people. Pick people who will be committed to you and will also hold you accountable.
Have a magnificent day.
