Without a sense of urgency, desire loses its value.–Jim Rohn
One of the differences between average achievers and world class achievers is their sense of urgency. Average performers operate like there is an endless supply of time, while world class performers are extremely sensitive to time. The great ones have a sense of urgency because of their awareness that present moment is all any of us really have. World class performers are on a mission to fulfill a dream and they know the clock is ticking.
High achieving performers know that life is short and they only have a certain amount of time to make a mark. This is one of the primary motivating forces for world class achievers. It’s also one of the reasons they develop large magnificent visions. Most understand that their time on earth is short and they want to leave a legacy. Their sense of urgency goes back to the beginning of the mental toughness process, clearly defining what you want.
What sense of urgency do you have? What legacy do you want to leave? If you don’t know or are not sure, make it your mission to find what you really want. Don’t stop until you find it. When you do find it, create a sense of urgency to act on it now. Don’t hesitate or procrastinate! Pursue you dream or goal with passion. Be fearless and bold. Your dream may be closer than you think.
Go for it and have a awesome day.
