A BURNING DESIRE TO BE AND TO DO is the starting point for the dreamer to take off. Dreams are not born of indifference, laziness, or lack of ambition. Many of us have been disappointed of frustrated by these economic times. In my marketing company, I meet people everyday that are losing their homes or their financial security. Many people feel crushed by the burdens of this economy and not sure what to do.
Even though no one wants to go through these trials and tribulations, take heart, because as we do we are building the mental muscle and the courage to recover and then excel. The character we build through these times is of incomparable value. Napoleon Hill said, “Every adversity brings with it the seed of an equivalent advantage”. If we look at life that way, we will always be growing and building character and turning that character into something great.
Remember that all who succeed in life go through heartbreaking struggles before they “arrive”. The turning point in their lives usually comes on the heel of some crisis. Youv’e heard it said, it’s not what happens to us in life, but its how we react to it that matters. All achievement, no matter what it is we want to accomplish, must start with an INTENSE BURNING DESIRE.
