Want To Feel Great?

Most people have no idea of the giant capacity we can immediately command when we focus all of our resources on mastering a single area of our lives. –Tony Robbins

Over the years, I have had many people say they wished they had my energy or I might hear your always so positive and energetic. It’s true and I wanted to share what are some of the reasons for my energy and my positive attitude. We all have the power to change how we feel in an instant. Years ago, I learned from Tony Robbins that there are three things we can do to feel great.

1. Physiology – Emotion is created by motion. The more active we are physically, the better we feel. We can change the way we move. We can change our body language. You can usually look at someone and instantly tell how they are feeling. Are they slouched or slumped over, moving slowly, or are they energized and moving fast?

2. Focus & belief – Whatever we focus on will become out reality. Are we focused on the negatives or what’s wrong in our lives or are we focused on the possibilities and the future. Are we  focused on what we don’t have or focused on being grateful for what we do have?

3. Language – Our language will affect how we feel. Change your language patterns. What questions do you ask yourself? What phrases do you say a lot? What affirmations or incantations do you say to yourself? Some that I learned a long time ago are: “I feel happy, healthy and terrific,” Everyday in everyway I’m getting better and better,” “To be happy make others happy.”

All three of these areas will affect the way we feel. In today’s economy, it’s easy to get down and be negative about the future or life in general. We don’t have to let that happen. We can change our physiology, focus & beliefs, and our language or self talk.  We all have the ability to change how we feel in an instant. Sometimes we can’t control what happens to us, but we can control what it means to us and how we manage our attitude.

Have an incredible day and feel great.

Sam
