Be Willing To Pay The Price

Just because you’ve written down your dreams and goals,  given them a timeline, and review them daily doesn’t mean they will be realized. There is a price to pay for every promise you make to yourself. This doesn’t necessarily mean the sacrifice needs to be huge just because your dreams are huge. In fact, the key is to break down your goals into small, baby steps which are easy to do daily.

Whatever the dream or goal, there’s a price you will need to pay, and that usually means you’ll have to give up something.  The price you pay is the same, but the  more you can break it down into small daily actions, the less it will seem like a huge sacrifice. Last weekend, I heard a very successful guy say that he gave up his country club membership to stay focused on building his business and realizing his goals. If our dream is to be debt free, we either have to make more than we spend. To make more money, we either need to work more hours or start a business. For many reasons, I’m a huge believer in starting a home based business. The other option to being debt free is to cut our spending. In either case, we will need to sacrifice or pay a price . In many cases, the size of the sacrifice is related to the size of the dream. We just need to know that there is a price and be willing to pay the price. Nothing in life worth having is free.

Jeff Olson says, “Remember this: whatever price you pay, there’s a bigger price to pay for not doing it than the price for doing it. The price of neglect is much worse than the price of the discipline. It may take a few years to put your success on track, but it takes your entire life to fail”.

“Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment” –Jim Rohn

Be willing to pay the price and have an awesome day.
